Top reasons why you need leadership training even if you don’t recognise it:
- You never got enough training when you stepped in that role you are now
- You feel insecure and overwhelmed
- You don’t really know how to convey messages and manage your team
- You’re following what you’ve seen others doing but you aren’t sure if it’s the right thing to do
- There’s tension in the air and you don’t know how to sort it out
- You’ve overheard people saying they want to leave and find another job but you never done anything against it
- You don’t schedule 1:1 meetings or manage performance because you don’t find the time
- You don’t know much about each team member and their individual goals
- You don’t know what a high performance team is and how to transform yours into one
- You think the company only hired crap and that’s why work isn’t done on time
- There’s a never ending hiring and you never understood why
- Conflits in your workplace are never resolved and only get worse
I’ve used the word “you” in every sentence and that’s intentional. You may not be aware of all of this but it’s still your responsibility to be in the best position to perform your job the correct way
It’s time for some Accountability. A big word that all the great leaders out there are not afraid of
If you can relate with 4 or more of the reasons above it’s time for you to step up your game and learn how to do better!
More About Me
What to do? I’m glad you’re asking because that is definitely the first step
In a world where companies and employees are battling for sustainability and purpose where do your company fits? Does it fit at all with the trends and main priorities of the market? Worse… does it has a place in the future or counted days?
My name is Maria Beato, I’m a coach and consultant in leadership and high team performance, I’m also a psychologist with participation in some research papers. Professionally I’ve worked for 6 years in management and team development. But most importantly I understand a LOT about people and essentially how to make them (your team) your highest asset, because leadership apart, all business would crumble without a strong team.
